Ahoy Pirates!
Well i´m playing as Ian Stance and working for France. I finished all French General Gouverneur Quests and captured ALL Cities that exist for France (not myself yet). Except Portobelo and Panama. OK, i can understand that Panama is not capturable because it has no harbour and you are generaly not alowed to capture Cities by land if you don´t get an order from a General Gouverneur for that before. But even the Gouverneur from Portobelo doesn´t give me the Oportunity to raise the French Flag after i defeated his Fort and Soldiers. He just tells me that i only won this time and that in the very near future a spanish fleed will come and wipe the ground with myself if i´m still there when they arive. So i can only take blood-money from him and sail away. I really tried every possibillity to capture Portobelo but no way. Has that to do with the fact that Panama is right behind and that they belong together or what is going on here? Does anyone from you have experience with this situation? :?
