Debugger Detected

Hopefully this is a simple problem and i'm just a newb. Anyway I just installed POTC 2 cd set, clean install, without a single mod. Go to run the game and after the storm engine thing, the game seems to start (the revolving world thing in the bottom right hand side of the screen, but no words saying loading) then a messages saying debugger detected pops up. For the life of me i can't work out how to get the game to work. As i said, hopefully a newb problem.

I heard about this before. It seems there are certain programs that PotC considers "debuggers". Why, I do not know. But one of these programs is Nero Burning Rom. Strangely enough I personally never had problems with playing PotC on a PC with Nero on it, but other people have. They managed to run the game by removing Nero if I remember correctly. Although perhaps removing that program isn't quite nescessary. Making sure there are no Nero-related programs running in the background should be sufficient, I think. There might also be other programs that for some strange reason are considered debuggers, but the only one I ever heard of was Nero.

......Ok i uninstalled nero and that's fixed it. Thanks for the help
