encountered a real bug

omg, i actually looked around the forum, and i couldnt find the answer anywhere, luckily i have a saved game... but anytime ill sail on the world map, the game crashes, no error, no nothing, just simply turns it self off, and disappears, leaving me to my desktop, with unanswered questions, has anybody come about this same bug? i mean.. ill be in the middle of sailing and -bam, turned off... wtf.. dunno what to do

it's probably near midnight. always happens at that time.

Yea.. well.. how the hell do i get rid of it.. lol.. well as far as im concerned its day.. dont think its midnight... help?

stay the day or night in the tavern until after midnight. that should fix it. unless it always happens, no matter if you stay in the tavern or not. is it the first time you're trying to go to sea? in that case, your computer might not be able to handle the video clip.

well thats kinda the problem im in the middle of the sea, and wherever i move from that one location the game turns off...

try going to 3D sailing view, sail on until the next day, and go back to the worldmap. it would also be worth it to try going to the worldmap straight after going to 3D sailing view, or after a battle.

Are you by any change sailing away from Redmond to deliver cargo somewhere else?
The same thing what happens to you if I switch to world map when I just left.

Very annoying, considering the reward is over 100000 gold.

So try not to ship cargo from Redmond to another island, that's all I can say, sorry..

HaHa no actually im sailing TO redmond from Oxbay but thanks, i think its the mod build 14.7 alpha thats crashing everything around Redmond lol
well.. actually i think i know what mod is doing it tho.. its probably the real sailing one where you can just sail in 3d mode and get to an island, (you couldnt do that in stock PoTC)

Yep just something to be fixed in the later versions.
