Finding Eastwood the diomand smuggler- jack sparror story

Hi guys,
Im playing hoist the colours and im on the mission where I need to find a smuggler named eastwood. There is a chap standing next to barbarossa called clint eastwood. Is this him? If i try and talk to him he just tells me to get lost. What do I do?

I didnt think Barbossa appeared till after you had talked with Eastwood
