Fixing Bugs ?

Is anyone taking responsibility for fixing the bugs we are finding in Alpha 8?

There is a lot of great stuff here and a lot stuff that doesn't seem to work. I am playing New Horizons and so far am visiting each island and logging errors in a thread called "Logging Bug". I can find them and I know that is the easy part, but I can't fix them.

Without wanting to be difficult, my question is, is there any point to identifying these bugs so they can be fixed or not. So far there doesn't seem to much interest or response.

Only pirate_kk and Maximus can fix those, and the most of the bugs come because of the mixing between the two versions (there was a KK version and a Maximus version, and seperate, they were quite good, without many annoying bugs). Both versions were really differnt in some of the code. Maximus seemed to have fixes for some bugs. But Pieter said he didn't release them.

Jason, could you also post those bugs in Sparrow Search build 14 "buggy" A8? I am keeping a list there, so the bugs can be found easier by the coders.

Thomas is right.
As far as I know, Pirate_KK is still actively working on Build 14.
He is never very active on the forum though.
Please don't let that deter you from the bug-finding work.
I made Alpha 8 with the specific purpose so that it can be tested.
I knew it wouldn't be perfect, but we need as complete a bug list as we can get.
When they're inventorized, Pirate_KK can hopefully do something about them.

Or Maximus, if he ever shows up again.
He said he has some fixes that he was going to upload weeks ago.
