Need Help Flintlock based pistol

hey guys my mate and I are making flintlock based pistol, so I wanted to ask you if you have few design advices? We wanted to make cannon based pistol or something like hand cannon in the beginning but later on make a flintlock mechanism. I will post pics to show you the progress. (sorry for my bad English)

sorry I was on a trip. Anyway we kinda in the ended up with mini version of hand cannon. I just need gunpowder and some kind of steel pellets to test run it, so yes its real not digital.
