No, you haven't broken any rules, unless they're rules I'm unaware of. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="

Can you please <a href="http://forum.piratesahoy.net//index.php?showtopic=9234" target="_blank">enable error logging</a> and tell me what's in the generated system.log, compile.log and possible error.log after the crash occurred?
A few questions:
- Did the game work before with those CDs?
- Did the game work before on that computer?
- What version of Windows are you using?
- Did you install any modpacks?
- Do you have something like an Intel Onboard graphics card?<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Hi!
The game has worked before with those CDs, however never before have I tried it on this computer. I am using Windows XP, have no modpacks and I THINK that the graphics card is Intel Centrino Duo? If not, then I don't know what it is =[
I did what you tell me about the error logging, caused the game to crash as it has been, and refreshed the Pirates of the Carribean program files, with three new files appearing.
The first one was called DrvMgt.dll and had this message (I have deleted the seemingly random characters before and after the message):
TLOSS error
SING error
DOMAIN error

R6027

It also said 'Cannot be run in DOS mode' at the top
The other file (called 'compile', so I'm assuming it is the compile.log you are referring to) merely said:

Finally, the system.log said:

I hope this helps you, and thanks for any help!
EDIT: I have also noticed that in the engine.ini file, under script, it says 'debuginfo =1'; could this mean a debugger is causing the problem?
