Is a "Save File" recovery possible?

Hi,

I have just had a power failure in my house. I was saving my game when my PC went off... Both of my save files are corrupted. One has some information in there but still doesn't work... Please, is there a way to check and repair that bad save???

Surely one of those saves should be fine since it couldn't possibly have been writing to two at once? But yeh, I have a habit of archiving all my saves every so often just in case something goes terribly wrong, not that this advice helps you now.
