I have been looking <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/keith.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="keith.gif" /> into COAS and I wonder which game is better, not as gameplay, but as graphics are concerned. Can I get a straight comparison of COAS and AOP with graphics and gameplay and how much you can manage with and without mods. When I looked at the screens, it looked a lot like it was the same engine and graphics capacity as AOP. I know it has better graphics than POTC, I was just looking for a comparison between the two. Any vids would help.

Also, in COAS, do the cannons recoil as they would in real life and aren't just there for show. If you look at the trailers for EIC, they can do this.

I also want to know if you can manage your own fort and plantation if you get in good with the govener, ex. add cannons to fortify it against slave revolts and add soldiers for the same purpose. Make buildings that increase your money.

As far as gameplay is concerned, we cannot answer your questions since the game has not been released yet. We know as much as you do in that respect. As far as graphics are concerned, they're either the same as AoP or better because CoAS uses an improved version of AoP's Storm 2.5 engine, which is again an improved PotC Storm 2.0 engine. We have a CoAS subforum right <a href="http://forum.piratesahoy.net//index.php?showforum=65" target="_blank">here</a> where you can find the information we do have.
