It's official, you can mod East India Company!

<img src="http://www.piratesahoy.net/images/stories/east-india.gif" border="0" class="linked-image" />It's pretty well know that PA! is pretty much the centre of the universe for modding pirate and pirate like games.  So it was with some disappointment that initially we learnt that East India trading was to be a "You can put a logo on the sails!" type game and not really have the ability to get into adding quests, ships, items, etc.  

Thanks to <b>Bumpkin</b> who keeps a keep eye on the official EIC forum who brings news of what will be available for change in the initial release.

I must say, after having a quick glance through it there are a fair amount possibilities for us to play around with, you probably won't be able to do a total conversion but you will be able to enrich the native playing environment.  I'm looking forward to getting some of these though as I have a feeling EIC is going to be a great success.
