Just Bought the Game!

Hello everyone. I know i jumped on the Pirates! bandwagon very late, but ive just been waiting for the price to drop. Also i just recently built a new computer. I decided it was time to pick up a copy fo SMP and get lost in the addictive gameplay.

I played Pirates! Gold on the Sega Genesis many years back quite a lot. In fact it has always remained one of my all-time favorite Genesis games. So im acctually pretty suprised that i didnt pick up a copy of SMP when it first came out.

Installed and played it for several hours last night and i really really like it so far. Gunna abandon the game i started yesterday when i get home from work and start a fresh one tonight on Adventurer difficulty and possibly a different time period from the default. I forsee many hours of SMP gameplay in my future, but ill make sure to alternate SMP with other games so i dont get burned out.

So anyway, its great to meet you all, and i hope some of you are still active on these forums! Also i have one question: I installed the SMP patch last night, but it never showed me any patch notes. Is there a readme file somewhere or a website that describes all the changes? I read somewhere that the patch intruduced as many bugs as it fixed, is this true??

It introduced more.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Wait, are you sayin its an untruth that the patch introduced more bugs? Or you saying that it did indeed "introduce more" bugs.

Is the patch worth it?
