Need Help Kidnapped Bride's quest

Hi mates,
Since the many years i'm playing with CoAS, sometime it's happened that i had been stuck into the kidnapped bride's quest. Every time when i met the scoundrel who kidnapped her (or him) on town, i had a clue that i have to find a way to board his ship.

• I had lurked in the surrounding but never his sails appears onto the sea...

• I had talk with nearly everyone on the island and nobody knows anything or can help me (except port seaman that tells me that the pirates as moved from another island).

• I had try to provoke him and kill him, town turn against me and the mission is a failure.

The scoundrel stay in town, and seem never leave it:

Anyone know how to find his ship and board it for rescuing the bride ?

The only proper way to end this quest is to look for the colored sails ship on the Caribbean map after being given the clues.
Purple I believe in this case, not green.
