I want to know if i can uppgrade my character i mean this P.I.R.A.T.E.S you know i have - at all why?

There is a quest you can do in the game that will get you 1 point to add to one of your PIRATES Stats, other than that, they will never change.

I dont understand why the hell did they "stole" SPECIAL system from fallout. Lack of imagination or...? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />

Well probably because it's one of the best and most comprehensive stat systems ever, so any innovation for the sake of innovation would likely be to the detriment of the game. It's the same thing with the skill system, with skills improving with use (as opposed to improving by distributing points earned in exchange for other points earned by killing stuff), which is ripped right out of Bethesda games. I don't mind as long as the result is a good system, which in this case I'd say it is. I just really hate the lame names, if you can't make the pun work in English then just don't. Forcing it like this only means I have to right-click the stats to find out what the hell they mean, which of course should be obvious from their names alone.

Now when I read what you said sordid, I couldn't agree more.
One of the best. And I hate those names too. I managed to remember only power (strenght) <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

Well they are referred to as SPECIAL in the game files, I managed to find the descriptions that pop up when you right click them, but couldn't find a way to rename them to the familiar SPECIAL names.
