what do you mean by that? do you mean that you'd like the map to show up as a background? or do you mean there should be a button that lets you view the map? if you mean the latter, i reckon as i can do that...

That would be a swell `add-on` to the game. Yes, Admiral8Q, I know. I prefer to have a printed map to look at, but if someone can implement a F2 "view map" into the game without slowing it down, it would be a great thing. The personal menu, i mean the F2 menu.

i think .... when hit F2 you get a menu (char menu)
then have a buttom there eg. as all the others options .... just with the full scaled sea map ..... (and perhaps a marker where you are)

I think the marker isn't a good idea. The pirates hasn't got map like that. Just a map will be great, i think.
