Me computer hangs when reading AoP DVD

Fred Bob 'twas gonna reinstall AoP, but now his computer hangs when reading de silly AoP DVD! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

Both System an' System Idle processes take up all me CPU time an' Fred Bob den has tew shut de machine down! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/no.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="no.gif" />

Weird thang be dat both me Pirates an' me BF2 DVD's read okay! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" />

Tried cleanin' an' a polishin' de disk, but to no avail! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huhh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="k" border="0" alt="huhh.gif" />

Bad disk? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":?" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

In all seriousness you may be having the same problem I had when I tried to re-install the game today.

It goes into the DVD drive not the CD drive.

Also try waiting a day or two.
Sometimes computers just get cranky.

It seems that Macs have this same problem.

The real answer may have to do with sub-atomic physics.
And atomic particles that we don't yet understand.

Found another possible cause for this.

A failing Power Supply.
