My luck with side quest continues..

It seems i encounter a problem on most side quests i play! Lol.

Im playing the Bartomelou quest, attempting to free his crew from the gallows in havana.
I get to the point where i tell Bartomelou that i will speak with the executioner while he fights the guards.
After the dialogue with him, nothing happens. I cannot move at all, frozen to the spot, and i cannot fast travel or speak.

Im guessing a small amount of code is needed to sort this?

That spot has problems. The best thing to do is save before you walk up to him. Keep replaying it until it clicks and you can move on. You can get through this with patience.

So is it supposed to eventually work?

Only I have counted 23 times now that I have reloaded and I seem to get the same result
