Solved Need Help cant grapple (board an enemy ship)

Hello guys im new to the forum. (zry for my english, its not my native language).
im having a problem right now, and it´s that i cant board any ship. I´ve tried selling my ship and buying a new one, hiring officers, ramming the enemy ship untill we are both standing still right next to each other, and i dont know what can be happening. (the grappling icon doest appear!)

Any ideas?

PD: Im playing with the 2.4 (?) vercion of the mode.

Wow that was fast!

i have GOF 2.0.4 Beta Patch.
I installed the game, and then i put one patch at a time until this one. (and half an hour ago i was able to grapple)

Ok, well you didn't need to install each patch because the latest patch will alway's include all fixes/changes in previous patches. But you know now, better to be safe than sorry though.

What nation are you playing as?

Try this out, install COAS, GOF 2.0 and patch 2.0.3 and leave 2.0.4 because that patch adds the updated code from GOF 1.2 for the surrender feature which is bugged. I was hopping the bug was related to some other code or perhaps even edited officer/crew what had happened in the past but not in the same way as this bug.

The patch 2.0.3 doesn't add the updated coding for the surrender feature although the feature is still very much included. It will also require a new game so pointless backing up your savegame, if you do decide to install up to GOF 2.0.3.
