I am new to playing Age of Pirates (and to this forum) and I have a few questions. I'm sure they have already been discussed, but I did try to look thru the topics and, well I got dizzy just trying to sort thru them all!

First, I would like to start by saying that I have played both Pirates of the Carribean and Age of Pirates and both are great games, but I do think that AoP is a bit better. And, IMHO, I think it is the true sequel to the vernerable yet ever popular SeaDogs. However, there are some aspects to PotC that are conspicuously absent from AoP. I also know that Akella and its usual partner, Bethesda are aware of the huge modding community that follow their games and so they design them with that in mind. So, I was wondering if there were patches, add-ons or other mods that help? (BTW, my game version is 1.4, so I assume it is "pre-patched".)
1) In PotC, I like the ability to leave the town and explore the island, looking for caves, dungeons or adventure. Is there something around to add that to AoP?
2) In PotC, there is a greater variety of items, such as jems and artifacts. Something like that for AoP?
3) In PotC, you can buy personal items from merchants and not just the street venders. Something for that in AoP?
4) PotC modding community have created a whole new line of itmes such as muskets and a compass (Yes, I know it is quest related, but it was never in the original game.). And I was wondering if armor was possible to add?
5) What about the Banks? Do they have a purpose? And, it appears there might be other buildings that could be activated?
