i am new on this whole sid meier`s pirates game.
and never played another pirate game before..

and sea dogs..
but wats the best? sea dogs, port royale 2 or sid meier`s pirates?..

I think that depends on the moods and tastes of the player. I´d prefer pirates. port royale 2 follows next. I don´t know sea dogs, at all.

Personaly I'd prefer Pirates O' De Carribean wid Build12 Mod over SeaDogs An Port Royal,an it'd be a toss up between POTC an Sid Meirs Pirates becuase I'd be enjoy'n both games,POTC fer realism,Graphics, de feel'n O being thar,whar as SMP fer pure Swashbuckl'n fun <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

I agree with Skull on the games - AND with Hafensaenger on the mood of the player. One day I might prefer Pirates to PotC, another day, quite the reverse. I find Pirates! to be a really great way to let off steam.

My input is this;

<span style='color:darkblue'><b><u>SMP's</u></b></span> - A great fun time killer with much to do if you use your imagination. Has simple trade aspects but leans towards battle. (i.e. naval and/or land).

As the others above has posted, there might not really be one better than the other, but perhaps they all are very well in their own right. It therefore falls upon the gamer to decide which type of gaming experience he/she prefers.

here is my tought:

i like sid meier`s pirates the most.
couse u can fight with other captains real quik and it is not dificult for trading and stuff..

i think that port royale 2 is a bit complicated couse u have to do very much complicated things...

sea dogs 2 I dont know...
