Fellow pirates, I viewed the video clip on the smp offical page the other day for the first time and was surprised to noticed it seemed to have more sounds than the actual game, ie footsteps when dancing, voices when at sea and many more. I am running the game with on board sounds, could that be the reason, mabye they show the clip using an all singing excellent sound card, or mabye I have not got the sound setup correctly in game. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bookish.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":mm" border="0" alt="bookish.gif" />

First thing I did when i built me computer mate was te disable on board sound and installed a hercules 5.1 surrond sound card,nada fer sound problems,stayed away from creative soundblaster as known problems with directx,hope that helps ye. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

they spell is karibbean, thats why they never had islands in the Caribbean, its cause they couldnt find it!!
