I'll release my Italian stuff after just this one little bug. I encounter strange CTDs every once and a while when going from the sea map thing to the ship view thing, or when boarding. Never happens on land. I know this is due to a mod error or somthing, but I really don't know what it is. It is just random it seems to me. Once that is fixed I'll release version 1 of my mod. I don't want my mod screwing up your games like it did with mine.

Everyone says when what you describes happens, to press T when you're standing at the dock before you board your ship.

nathan added some code to the function that runs when you press 't' `in-game`, to fix bad `pirate-hunting` quests that were causing ctds. look in seadogs.c in under <b>case "BOAL_Control2":</b>

i suppose we should change it so that that fix function runs automatically. (or ideally change the quests so they don't cause ctds hehe <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/happy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="^_^" border="0" alt="happy.gif" />)

capo, if you have a `pirate-hunting` quest open when you get the crashes, then pressing the `t-key` before leaving shore should do the trick.

Yeah, but I don't do pirate hunting quests often so will pressing T fix it anyway?

I dont think it does.
I had another one last night. But this was random, I was sailing along in me frigate, or corvette , forget which, and I was about to fight some pirates and CTD,
Would this happen from editing the Cocicao charaters file, the nation_init file, or the Character_names files?
It doesn't seem that that would relate, but who knows?
