well I got age of pirates working all well and good, goes into game great, and runs great, only I have a few problems regarding language;
I change the language to english, and when I go ingame, there are no text boxes and the game crashes,
so I change it to russian, and it works, but it's in russian of course. so what I do is I copy all the english files over to the russian files in the text directory, and replace them. so the game works in russian mode, but the main menu is in russian, and some of the menu boxes are missing in the loading menu, and ingame, all the characters I have run into still speak russian. so I copy all the russian files back over to the english section, hoping that there are some extra files in the russian section, but all that happens is the main menu is in english again and the game still has no text boxes.
so I figure that there is no english dialouge tree? is this what the partial translation fixes?
im getting the 1.1 path as we speak, so maybe that will fix it.
game seems great other than not being able to read it!
EDIT:
the 1.1 patch did nothing. I assume that it uses the russian.LNG files for dialouge, and there are no english LNG files. is this what the partial translation adds?

lol, I used 1.1r, which was the russian patch! the game works great now! I love it! my PC isnt good enough to have HUGE ship battles though. some parts are still in russian though, like YES and NO, and the last two abilities in the character sheet level up. I imagine there will be more too.
now, where can I find a map for this game? because there are like 16 islands! should I just use a real carribean map? is this game realistic enough for that?
