I've created a Youtube channel for our PiratesAhoy! Community: http://www.youtube.com/user/PiratesAhoyCommunity
If you have a Youtube account, please join the community! And please let me know the link of any video that should be favourited on there.

Also, as with the Facebook page, this is NOT meant exclusively for PotC; any CoAS content is very welcome too!
However, I will not be posting much CoAS content, so some of the CoAS Member really will need to take some initiative here too if it is to go anywhere!

Nice layout Pieter, I really like the background, not sure I like the red and brown for the lettering though, makes it a bit difficult to read in my opinion. Also, one thing that has always annoyed me about Youtube is they force videos to automatically start playing by default unless you set them to not autoplay, I believe there is also a setting for channel autoplay as well. Those are both just my personal preferences though, feel free to ignore them completely.

Legendary Spider did the colours, so I'm not going to mess around with that. But I did disable the "auto play" as per your suggestion.

I've subscribed to a bunch of people who have been posting quite a bit of PotC game videos on there, so it's worth having a look at their work too.
Did you know, for example, that there's a German "Let's Play" of Build 14 Beta 1?

I've just been doing some massive messing around with our YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/user/PiratesAhoyCommunity
Result: Everything is nicely ordered in playlists by subject, which should make it a lot easier to find what you're looking for.
There's a lot of interesting stuff there for both PotC and CoAS, so be sure to check it out!

At the moment, I don't actually have a "Gentlemen of Fortune" playlist other than the "Let's Play" one.
Does anyone have any videos to recommend to put in such a playlist?
It seems there's a lot on various users' channels, but I'd like to post the best ones of them all.

Yesterday I updated the channel again, adding a lot more videos to the playlists as applicable and adding a dedicated "Gentlemen of Fortune" playlist too, including all Modernknight1's videos and any others I could find.
It's all definitely worth having a look through. I hope people find it now quite orderly and that our PiratesAhoy! channel allows everyone to find all relevant videos all together in one spot.

Good work on the channel Pieter, more organized playlists are a good thing!

But it would sure help if the text was actually readable. Two shades of brown, red and dull yellow are not a good, easily readable color scheme.

That is more readable, yes!

Perhaps though I should have been a bit more detailed as to why I found it tough to read. The two tone brown looked fine, but the red and brown and yellow colors previously used for the text blended in too easily with both the browns and yellow. To be easily readable, text color needs to contrast the background colors, not blend with them. People have very short attention spans, if they can't easily read something right off, it's less likely they will stick around and read anything at all.

Added a text description for the PotC: NH and GoF: AoP 2 playlists that are displayed on the main page.

Also added the "Hearts of Oak" playlist on the main page since Captain Murphy has given us some more videos in addition to the development trailer.
