POTC: NH modcasts

Peter Blood

Privateer
At the moment, I am not able to work on my spanish storyline, so I was thinking of starting production of a series of MODcasts dedicated to Build 14. Each episode will cover a new topic, Islands, developement, storylines, music, influences, developers, items, etc. I will be posting them on youtube, and I was currently interested in what the populace thinks I should cover first in my first episode. Also, if you like the idea of guest speakers (perhaps one of the modders), be sure to let me know.

Sounds like a good idea, especially for giving the Build Mod some more publicity. :woot
I like the sound of a 'Modcast', too. It adds meaning to a video if it has a catchy, memorable name.
Perhaps for your first episode, you could give a general overview of what the Build Mod is, and a (very) brief history. Plus a couple of teasers here and there, perhaps. :cheeky
If done in a creative and interesting way, that would hopefully encourage viewers to want to learn more.

What a coincidence, I actually already created a first episode using audacity a little bit ago covering all of that. Just as an FYI, I may sound kinda young as It is a recording, but just for the record, I'm fifteen. I will try and upload it tomorrow.

Sorry that I'm about a week to late, I've had one heck of a weekend (not to mention my extra school studying for tests), but here is the prototype for my first MODcast.

I kept trying to upload it as different file formats (.aus/.mp3/and .wav) but the first two's formats are not supported and the .wav just continuously loads and does not work (it just stopped loading about 3 minutes ago). Do you know any formats I can export from audacity?

Where are you uploading? If it's a YouTube thing, shouldn't it end up being a movie file and not a sound file?

Are you trying to attach it to the forum? Even if the format is supported, you've only got a few MB storage space here.
Stick it on the FTP instead. http://forum.piratesahoy.net/index.php/topic/10288-piratesahoy-ftp/
