Solved Problem in Coas Quest and questions

Hello , I'm having a problem in Coas quest . I've been folowing Skodarap's Walkthrough for Coas Quest, I'm getting a headache because After swimming to the Diffunder and finding a chest which I looted Of some health and potion drinks Hurricane-sword and a french sword, a letter from Teaser Dan and a double barreled pistol. I simply cannot find a way to get back on The Velasco Galleon, I cant get on either of the ladders on both sides of the ship, and cant find any way to get onboard any of the vessels. I really only doing this for the Special Corvette ( since I play unmodded on my laptop I would not call her the WarDog). Is their any way to cheat and get the corvette without the quest? I mean the Coas is a bit intresting but a big headache to get around and swim But I'm not a big fan of a floating city of broken ships, I'm a big fan of rare floating ships like the Bluebird, Sea Wolf, and soleil Royal,etc.
Simply I am just wondering if theres anyway to cheat and get the corvette Without doing the quest, or how do I get back onboard a ship. Any help would be much Apreciated.

There are several ships that you can get out of the water onto. If I remember correctly this does not include The Velasco Galleon.

You can get out of the water at :-
Bow of the Ceres side facing away from Diffunder.
Bow of Pluto

The San Augustin ( walk up the broken ship - so that you are walking underneath the rope ladder - where the rope ladder jpins the ship at one side you can get onto the deck.) This is the easiest exit from the water to find.

Thanks, Now I gotta try to find the Tatarus for the Alice Taylor Quest and the church to get 400 candles so I can fasttravel. Ugh I cant find a way to get to Tatarus. And I dont know where the Church is, I have alot to do.

You can buy a map of the Lost ships City - from the store keeper in the store ( on the Esmeralda ). - however it does not show all the links between the ships - Tatarus is linked to the bow of the Esmeralda ( store ship) - by Esmeralda's bowsprit if I remember correctly.

Thanks a map is what I need. I've already found the tatarus and got Maxim Taylor out of Jail, but when I went back to the Ceres Smithy the ship I found Alice Taylor on shes not there, also Maxims not in the jail and when I ask people where Maxim is NOBODY can tell me where he is, They say the havent seen him for a while, What do I do? She is supposed to give me a skeleton key, and I could really use one of those!

Check the ship ( Ceres ) carefully ( including the deck )- people can walk all over the ships so she might be moving arround.

Thanks But due to bad interant connection I could not reply that I found Alice in the church. Sorry though. I've already slain the clans in the Velasco and San Gabriel-big pain in the butt. And I've already purchased the Dog Of War Corvette but I'm having trouble trying to find a gear winch? I think, under water. I just cant figure out where it is, And I'm walking very slow and a bunch of
crabs are chasing me. I don't care about the loot in the chests I just want to find that bloody Gear-thing that this GENIUS Mechanic
Dropped into the ocean. Geez this guy wants everything a 1,500,000 piasters and 30,000 for each dive. You'd think
A mechanic would be smarter than to drop his most important tool into the ocean, But sadly no this brain dead dude just decides to
drop it into the ocean Filled with Man eating Crabs and only gives 6 min, a million and a half piasters and he can't give at least 10 min. Well what can ya expect from a mechanic who looks a 100 yrs old........ Any help would be much apreciated.
There is a lesson in this NEVER trust mechanics.

Best thing to do is to save just before you go down into the water ( after you are in diving suit ) then use that save to methodically search for the gear-thing. there is a map of the underwater area - see the link in my previous post.

Thanks, I finnaly got the gear and the Dog Of War, Shes a magnificent vessel, Now onto Ship Of Souls Quest, Thanks Talisman.

i found the gear, and i accidantaly asked the mechanic to dive one more time.... and im stuck there forever.... i cant give him the gear and i cant dive again, i cant go underwater, its locked.... and last load game is about 10 hours before... help please

Activate the dev console and I think if you press F10, it will teleport you to a tavern *may or may not be friendly* that will get you out of there, hopefully your ship will moored there.
