Problems with the new/old compass radar thingy

First of all, thank you all for the work you have done on this build!

Now I have a bit of a problem with the status radar thing, I really liked the old one better for the sole reason it had a compass built in, the new one (or the missing compass) makes sailing around islands and navigating a pain in the old arse..

When I change it to the old status radar under realism settings it simply does not show up in the game, and if I return to the menu and change it again I can't resume the game or load one, I have to quit.

I would be a very happy little happy like thing if someone could tell me how to get that olde compass or just ANY compass to work when sailing (not world map, but sailing near islands and ships and other stuff).

Get a better compass and make sure it is equiped (yes the compass is an item in the inventory)

Changing those settings would require a new game to take affect by the way

Ok, i figured it out, thanks!

After and hour of reading text code files (that I do not understand the slightest of) I found out it could be changed via the in game menu.
