YAAAAAR

....

i just started this game about 3 days ago,and downloaded mod, which is great because game feels less arcady :b: :shock :doff :sail ,and has lots more goodies too,but i have problem with 2 types of quests.
The one where u need to steal blueprints from shipyard, and mission from port control where u need to find stolen ship.
For the blueprints i dont even know what to do,and for ships, how the hell do u find them? :modding

mhh..I never found a stolen ship...but I did never search very well. :shrug I think this quest needs much luck...you should ask the port controllers for the ship...but everytime my... :rumgone ...I give the search up and forget what I promised :eek:ops

I believe that all the mini-quests is to be avoided (stores, tavern, banks, battle-ships, citizens, and also local-governors).
Are troublesome and no benefits.

The store missions are a good source of money in the early and later parts of the game. I've never done a mission for the port controler so i don't know about them. The tavern is another quick source of income but notibaly less than most mini missions, citizens normally have no time limit for there missions and you can find yourself having several of there missions going all at once increasing your chances of successfully completing them and getting a decent amount of piasters in return and maybe a nice ship or two out of it. the govenor can be annoying but his mini quests can be worth doing when bored or in need of a quick source of gold.

I mostly run merchant missions for the store owners and battle against any who attack me no matter how poor my odds are, makes the game more fun and helps you make piasters very quick becoming so rich you end up having to store your hard earned gold in every town. The bank is one i have to agree on though, i can't stand doing the missions where he's dropped something outside of the town walls, i don't know about his other missions i normally say no to any mission he has to offer me.

...The ... missions are a good source of money...
The question is: the game worth the candle?
De gustibus non est disputandum, but...
I think more fun and quick to go out with a lugger, capture a ship and sell more ...
You see Jack Sparrow, who goes in search of a gem for the money lender?

Well it all depends on your playing style, i like to trade and build my trade skill up that way, of course i capture other ships and sell them and there cargo which helps improve the trade skill aswell as cannon and aiming and helps train my crew and officer's too. Everyone has there own playing style and tactic for each situation they find themselves in, i was simply saying to other's who like to do the mini quests that they can be fun and lucrative depending on your rank in most cases.
