I have Stronghold and Stronghold Crusader, and love them `both-waaay` too many hours put into those two games <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

They're making a Stronghold 2, also! I believe they're going to go 3D with the new one, so you can zoom around the castle and such.

I must admit to one odd thing, `though-I` do believe my absolute favorite part of Stronghold is the opening `cinematics-simply` hilarious! After seeing that, it could have been a crappy game and I would probably still keep it installed just for the opening.

I have stronghold crusader too, its fun, addictive in some ways, and the multiplayers hilarious sometimes! All the sudden someone comes with 200 assasins to kill yer leader, gives ya a BIG shock <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_eek.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":" border="0" alt="icon_eek.gif" /> <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_eek.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":" border="0" alt="icon_eek.gif" /> . Stronghold 2 will be in 3D, on pictures and videos it looks great. It will be relesed Q1 2005 or prehaps early Q2 2005.

Wow, 2005 is (hopefully) shaping up to be a good year for games I like. Age of Empires III, Stronghold 2, several pirate/trading games from Akella and Ascaron....
