Struggling with leadership

What are the different ways of raising the personal skill "leadership"? I am currently up at trying to developp my fencing skill and I would like to get the most of my personal skills increase.

Here you go, there might be other way's to build the skills up other than the way's i have pointed out but those are the way's i build the skills up, i hope it helps.

Leadership
This builds up with success of conflicts where you don't loose many crew members, loosing many crew members has a negative affect on the skill so be warned this can take a while to build up just depends on your ability to aviod loosing many crew members, not sure if there are other way's to build this up.

Light Weapons, Medium Weapons, Heavy Weapons
Using light weapons will improve light weapons skills, medium improves medium weapons skill and heavy weapons will improve heavy weapons skill

Pistal
Use any pistal you want perhaps some pistals improve this skill better, the more you use the pistal the faster your pistal skill with improve.

Luck
Playing cards etc at the tavern and winning will increase this skill, perhaps improves when you are out numbered or in a do or die situation and you manage to some how survive, not sure about that part but playing games in the tavern and been successful will improve this skill, warning can be very expensive if playing games in the tavern.

Stealth
Sneak into enemy ports without been captured, a person posted a good artical stating that you can only be captured if the gaurd speaks to you, so if you speak to one of your officers when a guard is heading your way and wait for him to go by before abanding the conversation with your officer you should see this skill improve, the higher your stealth skill the less you will have to worry about been spotted as a enemy of the nation.
