Tailors and Armor

I confess I am not spending a lot time shopping for new clothes but I would like to get some of the good armour. Every time I go to a tailor shop thay offer me clothes, but no armour.

Does anyone know how this is supposed to work?

Well i have to say I liked the aromour you could fight under any set of clothes that we found in the chests before build 11. But the build is so great the loss of the amour is insigniricant.
