The " Hand of God" sank a ship

After capturing a battle ship at the Battle of Greenford, I was surprised when it appeared to spontaneously explode. The message "Battleship Monarch sunk b;y hand of God" appeared.

I know hand of god is factor in the final battle with the Blcak Pearl but I have never seen it strike ships anywheer else before.

Any ideas?

nonono, it just means that `no-one` fired a shot at it before it sank (who sunk a ship is decided by who fired the killing shot, i think, which is more than a little unfair in some cases but that's the system lol <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/happy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="^_^" border="0" alt="happy.gif" /> ). a ship is generated with varying amounts of damage (waaaaay too much damage in my opinion!) and if she's on the verge of sinking when she's generated, she may just sink without being shot at, so it tells you it was the "hand of god" as took her down...
