Translate German to English

Hello, my mother bought me Pirates! for my birthday. As most games in germany they are translated in german. I would like to make better my english and play the english version. Can I translate my german version?

I suppose, if you install the Build 12.1 modpack, most of the stuff will be translated into English. Are you referring to Sid Meier's Pirates! or Pirates of the Caribbean?

He is referring to SMP!, I think. Could somebody move it to the SMP Modding?
