I can play Pirates! now with my 4 year old card (forget the type and it's at home right now). But, after playing a little while I start getting artifacts. Also, the ground combat when taking a settlement is unplayable. It takes over a minute to move each unit. The tavern is also very slow but not too bad.
So, I want to buy a new card, something under $150 ideally. Does anyone have any recommendations on cards that will definitely play the game well? The other components in my machine are old (3+years) but were top of the line then and will still handle most anything so I'm not worried about them.
