Weird medecines

Hi, I am using build 13 and I've noticed that I often find lots of weird medecines and liquides in bottles that I find in chests everywhere, and in the description it says I should find someone who knows what to do with it. What <i>do</i> I do with it?

collect 4 different ingredients and give them to the guy in the greenford apothecary at the top of the stone stairs that lead to a top floor.
