What all changes as you change the difficulty level?

I'm curious what all changes. Does it change your crew's moral, making them less likely to stay on? DOes it make all your battles more difficult? Does it make dancing harder? Does it make recruiting more difficult?

Thanks!

Every thing is more difficult ,you don't get any more hints when dancing(i mean the flash thing) ,when you fight with swords you get....like when you ride a crazy rollercoaster and at the end you feel strange. Any way you lose focus or some thing like that and you can't hit as good as you originaly can.

It's harder to sail, your cannon shots are not as accurate, your opponents are faster, the ladies are harder to impress and you crew is crankier than normal.

The game is the same, just harder. In beta, they had it set up that to get promoted to certain ranks, you had to increase your difficulty level. To make Duke, you had to be at Rogue level. But, we pitched a fit and I think they reconsidered in the interests of having the game "winnable" for all skill levels of players.

Really?? I kind of like that idea.

The wind also varies alot more in direction at higher difficulty levels (as opposed to always blowing west from east in the easiest mode), which means you actually need to pay attention to the wind indicator.
