What difficulty?

On what difficulty are you playing the game?

I started playing on apprentice because the game suggested that first `time-players` started on that. So i did.. but i found it to be waay to easy.

So i started a new game. This time on the next difficulty level.
But.. i think that this also feels WAY to easy.

But maybe the game will be harder a bit in? Or will it be like this always?

the beauty of it is that if you find it too easy you can just divide and plunder and select a harder one

Can you really do that? When i choose "divide the plunder" i can only Revert to apprentice. Not advance <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />

It should ask you when you start a new expidition if you want to go on a higher skill level, im pretty positive on that.

Or just start a new game on rouge

I think when you divide the plunder, if you have amassed an impressive amount of gold and your men are happy with the splits, you can then go UP to another difficulty level. If you've divided the plunder and your men are not really that impressed with the splits, you're invited to continue at the same level, or go DOWN to a lower difficulty.

It's all about the money. <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="icon_wink.gif" />

Yes, if you are "successful" you'll have the option to upgrade to the next higher level when you divide. If you are not given that option, then you are not doing well enough.

In other words, the game's not too easy if you don't play well enough to advance to the next level... <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

Ah! Thanx for the info. Now that's a good difficulty system! <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
