    Does that then also mean the Spanish capture Speightstown rather than the French? And arent you only hostile to pirates if you start as Personal? Because then he does say French ships attacked, while you're neutral to France until you meet the Jamaican governor?

    Im thinking perhaps I hit him myself during the tavern brawl and that prompted the quest ending, but there is no quest log entry for that situation? I didn't really wanna start over as I captured a 22-gun sloop of war with corsair upgrade 10 minutes later

    It would appear the speed is randomly generated. I went back to that save, and this time the speed was 15.7 as opposed to 17.8 for my spiegelretourschip. However my Spiegelretourschip has all upgrades apart from Corsair, as opposed to the Brig not having any. Then I loaded the save again...

    So I started a new Nathaniel campaign and I spawned on Nevis, so I instantly got Artois Voisey.. and according to my quest log, he died and thus the quest is finished. He's in perfectly good health though. No idea why it happened. There was a tavern brawl, but he barely got scratched? :D funny...
