    I've searched in both files, but I can only find the settings for the "sail to", not for the World Map encounters.

    What's the file that creates the 3d mode encounter settings, when you are "teleported" from the World Map to the "normal" map? I want to change the distance at which those encounters are set, because I find myself often already in cannon range, so there's no room to maneuver

    well, as far as I remember the mod doesn't work anymore if you switch to the World Map (or, to be precise, it doesn't work if you go back to the 3d far away from land). But 30 min of sailing are really too few (unless you did them at 30x speed), to reach Redmond from Oxbay it takes 4 game-hours

    yeah, I supposed that.. so, if I enable the DSmod, I have to jump off, save and then return to the 3d mode. But in the read-me of the mod there's this line "<i>Directsail works only if you are in a sealocation that contains an island. If you are at "open sea" it doesn't work cause that location...

    The DirectSail mod is REALLY interesting, but I have a doubt: if I sail from island to island in 3d mode, how can I save (I don't know why, but you can save everywhere except when you are on your ship)?
