    Remove captain before sale

    You might want to keep that lugger until you find something else if you are doing cargo quests. Just plop someone on it, and the extra hauling capacity equates to more cash in your hands for each quest. I'll second that about the Xebex CT -- good speed, big guns, decent capacity, and looks great.

    Pirates won't be neutral, and the French are hostile initially. As for the nations, they may be hostile to each other, but they're neutral to you until you do something to anger them, like stealing their ships or firing on their forts.     Interesting ideas, but I see one possible difficulty with colonies changing hands. In SMP, each nation has a number of colonies, so losing one doesn't usually wipe a nation off the map (except maybe in the 1600 game). In POTC, except for England, the others only have one each.
