Description
Lord Horatio Nelson was born into a somewhat prosperous Norfolk family, he joined the navy, influenced by his uncle Maurice Suckling.
Horatio soon rose through the ranks, serving with leading Naval Commanders of the period before gaining a command of his own in 1778.
