Solved Officer Problem

Hey great and terrific guys of this forum. I know I've been bothering you a lot lately. But I have another problem.

The officer on my passenger list suddenly became inaccessible. I mean, you could assign him/her to your active officers, but he/she won't appear, all stats went kaput, and you can't fire him/her.

How could I re-access my officer or just remove him/her completely to get it over with?

I don't know if this kind of problem was addressed before because I cannot find any similar posts in this forum.

Anyway, I'm really grateful for your quick replies and patience.

Won't fix your already-lost officer, but should prevent the same thing from happening in the future.

I think I found some way to fix this. I don't know if it would work all the time but it sure did make my officer re-accessible.

I hired a new officer at a tavern. The then inaccessible officer duplicated the new officer.
e.g. I hired someone named "Boaty McBoatface" his job is a gunner. the inaccessible bugged officer I had on my passenger list copied "Boaty McBoatface"
now, I have two Boaty McBoatfaces.

The officer is re-accessible but for some reason you can't neither talk nor fire that still bugged officer. But the bright side is, you could rename, "redress", and reassign that officer.

Or you know, you could just download the patch, Pieter gave.
