-1 New Messages

Sometimes I see this message in the forum taskbar: -1 New Messages. That's interesting. How can I have MINUS one new PMs? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wacko.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wacko:" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" />

That's easy - I had -2 messages once <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

I've had that also. Can a message be deleted after its sent?

first time I got that, was because I deleted a message before being read.
(saw the contents in the pop-up)

I don't remember if I did that then saw the -1 new message afterwards but that explanation does make sense.

i had -3. i've had it happen after i've not deleted anything for a really long time, but the other explanation makes sense.
