2nd mission with companions

In Silehard's second mission, you escort Ewan Glover's ship to Bridgetown, land some troops, then hike across the island to meet agent Tobias. You might have some companion ships at this point - perhaps prizes you haven't yet sold, perhaps quest ships. If you don't know the story inside-out, or if you just didn't think ahead, you might still have those ships when your flagship has been told to make its own way back to Port Royale while you escape from Speightstown on the ex-French frigate. They're still in your fleet, so they show up at Speightstown as well and are liable to be sunk by the fort or the blockade fleet.

So I've written a bit of code to take any companion ships from you when you receive the frigate. They're stored away and returned to you when you report back to Silehard.

Except that you temporarily have command of one of the best frigates in "Colonial Powers" period. You probably still have the British LoM which Silehard gave you right at the start. Or perhaps you've changed sides and have someone else's LoM, or you've turned pirate. In any case, you probably want to put that frigate to good use before you have to give it up. So you might arrive at Port Royale with some new prize ships as companions. So what happens if the number of companions removed at Speightstown plus the number of companions you now have exceeds the maximum total number you're allowed?

Silehard's dialog will contain a check for that. If you have too many companions in total, he'll tell you to dispose of some of your existing fleet. Then you can return to him and get your original companions back. Only when this is done can you continue to the next part of the main story.
