A Sloop that is light an heavy

Would anyone be intreasted in aiding me converting the model and setting up the rigging for in game implementation?

I kind of cant make heads or tales out of the locators bit and i cant get it converted properly.

If you started with an existing hull, and you DONT moved the main model, you have all hopes to put her ingame. Otherwise.....
All locatorts need to redone.....
About the masts: you can higher, and lower the mast locators a bit, but may need to shorten the rigging models in 3dsmax or maya, to look less too big.
Just be careful not change its place, and if you shortened one, move the locator after it.

<img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> thats the reason I dont touched the corvette's stock rigging when I completed my high poly corvette. Only tinkered (alot) with the hull.
So it may really complicates things, matey,
Try to universe scale the WHOLE mast models, maybe it helps.

converting your 3dsmax model (I dont know other) is easy: export it to .3ds format, open it with milkshape, and with that export it to .wrl then open that with Inez's tool, first checking the invert texture, and item/ship/location checkbox. it gonna ask you for a file collision detection copied from. select a model, that has a very similar hull to yours, or the same. Then save the imported. wrl to gm. If its inside out, try to check reverse normals box also.

Instead of milkshape you can use THIS 3d EXPLORER, as Nathan Kell told. I have only experience with Milkshape yet.

If you dont use a 'middle station' program, 3dsmax produce a very large, ugly wrl file, which may shut down game after converted to .gm.

If you interested, I may put up here my stepbystep tutorial about this, but thats contain the same, only more detailed.
Hmm, I checked it out, it has some details in it that may come life saving. So if the problem still persist, anwer me, and I put up the tutorial somehow.

when i try to load the milkshape converted vrml as you described i just get a little square in the screen

blah, 3dexploration is being touchy, when i convert as vrml 1.0 i get error on one of the model parts
when i convert 2.0 i can only do it with ignore textures, otherwise i get a cannot read file in the TOOL program.
