All i can say is...WOW!

Well mateys, i got Pirates of the Caribbean a few days ago and played it, i finally beat it, the battle with the black pearl was aweseome.
Not to mention all sea battles were amazing, the water an all.

alltho a few questions thou

In the beginning of the game i could run into Skelleton pirates in the night, but later on i only ran into bandits? is it something that happens later on the main quest? or is the black pearl sailing from island to island randomly?

Also is this the only ending? defeating the black pearl.
And are there quest lines for the Dutch and Spanish and French as well?

i also get the impression there was supposed to be more in the game.
i noticed in the Videos folder that the end movie sequence is called Ending_Eng
and there is also a folder called English, i get the impression there should originally have been other ending clips.

Yes, due to Disney intervention, PotC was a VERY unfinished game. The original base for this game was going to be Akella's "Sea Dogs II", but when Disney wanted a tie-in game for their movie PotC, they waved around a lot of dollars, Bethesda accepted, and Akella was told to change a lot of things around - or tone them down - or take them out altogether (there used to be SLAVES as a commodity, I think). The game as released is incredibly buggy and full of unfinished quests and other problems.

With the mods we have here, we've managed to fix a lot of problems, PLUS "unlock" or finish quests that were left dangling with nowhere to go...

The Main Quest ends with the defeat of the Black Pearl, yes. There are no quest lines for other nationalities to defeat the BP, it's just you, whomever you happen to represent at the time.

You sound like you have not installed any mods, and that this is your first time playing through PotC straight out of the box.

You want a real "WOW"? Download Build 12 and see what it does to your game. These are all fan-created modifications to PotC, and while I might be a bit biased, THEY ARE INCREDIBLE!

English/ENG are because your copy of the game is localized for English. Spa is for Spanish, etc.
