animation files

I have a question to skillful model creators
it is posibble to transfer character model from 1 animation file to another?
i mean if model uses man.an file, can i somehow make it to properly use woman.an for example?
its about changing some locators, or ill have to redone model completly?
and what programs required?

im not so good in english, but i hope i made my point

You do realise that we have one character modeller and two "learners" and that is it unfortunatly... The main one is currently not active either

So at the current time I wouldnt get your hopes up sorry

for some reasons i cant get in: "Error 500 I won't open a connection to 192.168.144.24 (only to 62.182.30.139)"

NO idea how she did it though and it's been a long while since we heard from her...
