Well, that's a Game I'm really waiting for. Looks very intresting and I liked both predecessors.

I guess I'm going to play the Gaul. I'm an old Asterix Fan. <img src="http://gb.asterix.com/goudurix/smailix/images/5c.gif" border="0" class="linked-image" />

So anyone else intrested in Rome?
Sadly the Demo should have been released last Friday but it was postponed to late August or early September.

ive been waiting for this game for neer 2 years if not more if thats what ur wonderin <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blah:" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> ill proley play as everyone i like to have many games at once so that when i tire of one i can hop on another. or if i get totaly screwd in one i can just goto a game that isnt all that bad. but anyways i have to go with the closest thing they've got to those crazy sobs the Tuetons. other then that id enjoy the Greekes.

if u have the history channel they use the RTW engine to simulate classical period battles so far they've shown the battle of marathon, and latter tonight they will show thermopoli. im guessing these battles will be in the historical battles section of the game. but to answer ur question one last time. yes, ive been waiting my ass off for this game <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/par-ty.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheers" border="0" alt="par-ty.gif" />

Yeah, im looking forward to a little Legion V. Legion outside the walls of Rome <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bounce.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":b:" border="0" alt="bounce.gif" />

Same, im still playing with medieval TW, i like the stratergy part more so than the battles i only step in then i have the maps with a river in it <img src="http://www.piratesahoy.com/forum/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

Yeah i must say that i enjoy the stratergy part a bit more then the battles, but i can never turn down a good battle. i just get a little board and sometime overwhelmed when it comes to the massive battles later on in the game.

wow i just had a go at the rtw demo, ans its pretty damm good, short but a really fun game and the graphics are great, the first tutorial where you get walked through the battle i thought was really good aswell.

If anyone is thinking about this have a look at the demo you will be glad you did
