I ask this because this stupid patch 1.42 is more bad than good! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" /> As I understand Super Mode is something like a patch and mod in one (correct me If wrong). <u>Does the Super Mode fixes the crash of returning in the Desktop after game shuts down?</u>

Also, can I install Super Mode v1.3 without using v.1.1 first?</b><!--fontc--></span><!--/fontc-->

Thanks for the information. But what about the <b>Desktop crash</b> AND the others. (I TALK about the desktop crash in the technical problems section, if you need more inf0)
 
Don't you understand my friend? What I said is that :
<b>
1) I open the game
2) I load my saved game or even a new game
3)play no more than 10 minutes
4)game shuts down and I see the Desktop
</b>
That happens both in the sea and on the land <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" /> !
 
Here is the best way to make sure you have a nice clean install, a backup of it and then proceed with installing the SuperMod on top of it.

1) Uninstall your current installation. Delete any remnants after the uninstallation. Make sure you delete any save games.

2) Reinstall AOP. (Make sure it runs properly, DO NOT UPDATE IT TO 1.42)

3) Make a backup of the good running installation directory. Either copy it to another folder, or use your favorite compression software to save a bit of space. I recommend <a href="http://www.rarlabs.com" target="_blank">WinRAR</a>, other folks prefer <a href="http://www.winzip.com" target="_blank">WinZip</a>.

4) Install SuperMod 1.1 (Make sure it runs)

5) Install Update 1 (Make sure it runs)

6) Install Update 2 (Make sure it runs)

This next step is optional, some folks have problems with update 3, others don't.

7) Install Update 3 (Make sure it runs)

If you've gotten to here without any major troubles, Congratulations, you've successfully installed SuperMod in the proper order and gotten it fully updated.

But, you know my english is not in a high level, so could you please rephrase <b>step 3 </b>(Make a backup of the...folks prefer WinZip) Which files should I backup (ENGINE.EXE etc or the setup file) <b>Please rephrase!</b>

My suggestion in step 3 is to backup the entire game directory. Everything there. So if something breaks and you can't get the game working again, you can just delete it all, then decompress your backup to the original install location again. No installing of the game at all, just decompress and go.
