Cannon Firing

While playing on the new Build 13 I noticed something that bugs me. When you fire your cannons, they all fire at the exact same time. So the cannon firing soud effect sounds to robtic. Is there anyway to alter the game so the cannons fire at different times over the course of about 2 seconds? The individual cannon fire sound effects are clashing with eachother. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/poet.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hmm" border="0" alt="poet.gif" />
 
it's the idea that cannons fire over a shorter timespan if you have a high cannon skill. preventing that would make the skill useless.
 
There's nothing to make you appreciate the cannons all firing at once quite like starting a new game with a low level character and 1 cannon skill point.

It used to be worse. With accuracy skill 10 all the shots would hit the same point on the ship. I needed chainshot to be more random, so I spread out the shot a bit. I think the effect has improved the cannons.

If cannons would shoot successively you would hit almost nothing. It´s a game, not reality. Reality is quite different from behaving ships in game. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mybad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":facepalm" border="0" alt="mybad.gif" />
 
I know. I think the solution is finding a sound effect of a lot of cannons firing or differnt cannon fire sound effects instead of the exact same sound bite played against itself times the number of cannons you have.
 
i think it's fine as it is. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shrug" border="0" alt="dunno.gif" /> a 100 32 pound cannons firing all at once sounds pretty cool to me! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen1.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":cheeky" border="0" alt="icon_mrgreen1.gif" />
