Can't Die in Melee, Invincible

I started a new game, installed the mods, just got off the ship and attacked some people and no matter how many slashes or bullets they put into me my health doesn't decrease, I can still kill them. What's up with that?

do you have the godmode enabled, maybe?

Which modpack version do you have? Which storyline is it? Do you have the cheatmode enabled?

It says I'm running version 2.1, but I thought I installed the latest patches, so not sure. Build 14, btw

I don't believe I have godmod installed, at least I didn't think I installed it. It's the vanilla storyline. I don't believe I have cheatmode running.

Beta 2.1? I may have accidentally left the cheatmode enabled in that version, so pressing Numpad 0 would have enabled the godmode.

It is ancient in any case and I recommend updating to the latest Beta 3 test version: http://www.piratesahoy.net/threads/build-14-beta-3-progress.20686/

heh, numpad 0 indeed turned off god-mode.

Downloading the new beta now. I apologize for the silly question, but how do I actually install this? Just a bit confused since there's a installer and a update archive seperate from the main download.

New Installation: Create a new folder on your desktop and place all three files inside it, then let the installer do its work

Do I have to uninstall the current mod that I have installed for that to work?
